Gameplay
Voyagers of Nera is a co-op survival crafting adventure for up to 10 players, set in a vast ocean filled with ancient ruins and a variety of biomes.
Nera is a world of beauty, magic, and danger. You play as an Echo, descendants of the long lost protectors of this realm. Your mission is to sail the seas, defeat the Deep's monstrous creatures, and awaken fading spirits before they vanish forever.
Set Sail Across The Seas
Whether solo or with friends, sail to distant islands or surf across the waves. Build your own ships from scratch, outfitting them with sails, decorations, cannons, and magical stations. Dive beneath the surface to uncover rare resources and hidden treasure—but beware of what lurks in the depths.
Survive A Magical Ocean World
Your journey will lead you through fantastical biomes, from island archipelagos formed around fallen colossi to towering coral cliffs. To survive, you'll need to construct mighty seaside bases, forge new weapons, and awaken powerful nature spirits while battling fearsome creatures both above and below the waves.
Awaken Powerful Spirits
Lost spirits are scattered across the world, hiding from the monsters that hunt them. When you rescue them, they'll aid you in return—teaching you new crafting recipes and magical abilities.
Each biome was once home to a mighty Elder Spirit, now shattered and lost. Find their scattered shards and awaken them to claim their incredible powers and help restore the world of Nera.
Build The Ultimate Island Base
Create expansive, customizable island villages with a flexible construction system. Each base allows you to refine resources, cook meals, and craft better gear—while also serving as a sanctuary for the spirits. Build amenities to attract and protect them, and in return, they'll magically empower your settlement, unlocking advanced crafting options.
Voyage Alone Or With Friends
Voyagers offers a rich solo experience—and becomes even better with friends! Play with up to 10 people on a server, invite new players at any time, and contribute through different roles. Whether you prefer adventuring, crafting, fighting, or building, every choice helps your group advance.
For multiplayer, you can host a game for others to join, set up your own dedicated server for free, or rent a server through a range of approved partners.
Launching Into Early Access
We believe great games are shaped by player feedback, and we've been playtesting every two weeks since mid-2025. Early Access gives us the chance to gather input from a wider audience, helping us refine the game even further. Explore the Deep Feedback + Patches
We've been closely monitoring all feedback and bug reports from the latest patch. We've already released several fixes, with at least one more update on the way to address the following:
- Shrinking the radius of the Undiscovered Artifact indicator to make Ruins easier to locate
- Fixing an issue where the Twitch Diver's Knife displayed incorrect damage values
- Resolving a problem where clients wouldn't properly receive credit for restoring the Broken Monolith or unlock its Lore Entry
- We'll continue to review feedback and incorporate improvements in future updates—so keep your suggestions coming!
Updated Roadmap
We're pushing steadily toward our 1.0 release, and we're excited to share this updated roadmap, which includes a new patch arriving in December!
We're thrilled to introduce several highly requested features, such as a Free-Fly camera for building, an Arachnophobia mode, console launch, and more!
This roadmap highlights only the major features—there are plenty of surprises in store throughout the year, and we can't wait to hear your thoughts!
