Title
In navigation, search, widgets, and on the channel itself, this is the name that will appear.
Description
Provide a brief description of what the Forum channel is for.
Locking
A forum channel can be locked to prevent new posts from being created. It is also possible to lock individual posts, preventing further comments. It is useful for closing out completed conversations or cutting off abuse-related conversations.
Forum topics
You will be asked to select which type of topics you want the forum to cover when you create a Forum channel. The forum can be limited to questions or you can select all the provided options to allow all topics. In addition to this feature, you can also create widgets that display just one type of forum Topic in other areas of your workplace. A widget displaying all forum discussions in your workplace labeled Ask a Question, but not discussion, idea, or issue discussions, for example, may be useful in a customer service area.
Location
Forums can be located in any location in your workplace using this feature.

This channel will not be visible if this feature is selected. Channels are still accessible through the site manager or through their URLs.
