Instead of simply rolling a ball, players now control human and humanoid characters through a stunning environment. The world is more detailed, emotional, and narrative-driven, giving each level its own theme, characters, and story.
Rolling Sky 2 brings some significant differences from Rolling Sky 1, transforming itself from a simple sequel to a completely new take on the original game. The most notable change is the more detailed, earth-like art style, which gives the environments a richer, more realistic, and cinematic feel.
Another major innovation is the introduction of playable human or humanoid characters, rather than rolling balls. Each character is associated with a specific level theme—for example, the Joker appears in Fantasia, while the Suit plays a role in Jazz.
