In order to use DiDi in China, please download the app 'DiDi-Greater China' from the App Store (Mainland China / Hong Kong Special Administrative Region).
DiDi is an app that lets you request a vehicle to transport you from one point of the city to another, similar to Uber and Cabify. It's important to keep in mind, however, that DiDi is only available in approximately 400 cities worldwide, so if you aren't in one of those places, you can't use this app.
You only need to set up a registered user account by adding your real phone number in order to use DiDi. Upon creating your account, you'll need to indicate your current location and a vehicle will be on its way to pick you up in a few minutes (seconds if you're lucky).
DiDi allows you to make payments from within the app, as is normal for this type of application. The DiDi app also allows you to leave a review about your driver and the vehicle he drives, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable ride every time.
Requesting a trip is simple:
- Creating an account is as simple as downloading the app.
- Pickup and dropoff locations must be selected in order to request a trip.
- You'll be able to view information about a driver once we've found one. The driver-partners we work with are all vetted by our platform before joining. The estimated time of arrival (ETA) and pickup route can also be checked.
- Use your preferred payment method directly in the app to pay at the end of your trip.
