A simple Guide to install the APK File

Installing the .apk file is a simple process, but if you are a beginner and trying it for the first time, then you will have some difficulty. Here we provide a method which is useful for everyone.

Before installation, we want to tell you some important things related to installation. If you install any apk file from the Google Play Store, then you do not need to allow unknown sources on your device.

But when you try to download any apk file from outside Playstore (which is called third party), then to install it you need to allow unknown sources on your device. This is an indicator that you want to install apps from somewhere other than Playstore. Since installing anything from outside Playstore can be harmful, this setting is given in Android devices.

Allowing unknown sources is the main step, after which you can easily install any comprehensive file downloaded from anywhere.

Step-by-Step Process of Installation of APK File

Step 1. Download the APK FIle From APKDirectory or Any Other Trusted Source (For security reasons)

Step 2. Allow Unknown sources on your device. (You can do it before downloading of apk file; you have to do it once)

  • Go to Settings → Security/Privacy → Install unknown apps (or Unknown Sources).

Step 3. Go to the Download section and tap the downloaded APK file, and then tap the Install option.
